After much speculation, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE is finally showing signs of life as new details about this budget-friendly foldable smartphone emerge. Recent discoveries in the GSMA database provide a clearer picture of what to expect from this anticipated device.

Confirmation of Existence

SmartPrix has uncovered evidence of the Galaxy Z Flip FE's existence, identifying a device with the model number SM-F761B, initially referred to as 'Galaxy Z Flip XE.' The use of the term 'XE' raises questions about potential misnaming, but SmartPrix is confident that this will be corrected in the coming weeks.

This listing notably lacks further information regarding the specifications or features of the Galaxy Z Flip FE. However, the suffix 'B' in its model number suggests that the smartphone will be available globally, unlike the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which was restricted to South Korea.

Upcoming Samsung Foldable Lineup

Adding to the excitement, further insights from Android Authority have surfaced regarding Samsung's foldable lineup set for release in the coming year. Through their analysis of the One UI 7 beta code, three additional model numbers were identified: SM-F751 for the Galaxy Z Flip 7, SM-F966 for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, and SM-F968 for the successor of the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. This implies that Samsung is preparing to unveil at least four foldable devices in 2025.

What to Expect from Galaxy Z Flip FE

The Galaxy Z Flip FE is anticipated to be announced alongside its premium counterparts—the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Z Fold 7—during the second half of 2025. It is projected to be powered by the Exynos 2400e chipset, which will likely also feature in the Galaxy S24 FE.

In contrast, the flagship Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to utilize the yet-to-be-announced Exynos 2500 chipset. If these rumors prove accurate, this would mark a significant shift, as it would be the first time a high-end Samsung foldable device is equipped with Exynos technology.

Additional Surprises: Galaxy Watch 8 Classic

The excitement doesn't stop with the foldables! SmartPrix also discovered the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic listed in the GSMA database under the model number SM-L505U. The return of the Classic variant, noted for its iconic rotating bezel, is particularly intriguing since this feature was omitted from the Galaxy Watch 7 lineup, which included only one model available in two sizes along with the Galaxy Watch Ultra.
