The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is set for release in early 2025, but leaks and rumors are already creating a buzz.
Recently, a mock-up image of the front design of the upcoming device has surfaced, showcasing notable changes that may excite potential users.
Design Innovations
One of the most substantial changes in the Galaxy S25 Ultra is its design. According to renowned leaker Ice Universe, the device features rounded corners, moving away from the sharp 90-degree angles that have characterized its predecessors.

This shift in design could significantly enhance user comfort, as pointed edges often feel uncomfortable when held for extended periods.
“If this is indeed a significant design change for Samsung, it will mark a departure from the boxy design adopted since the Galaxy S22 Ultra in 2022,” stated Ice Universe.
The shift towards a curvier design may signal Samsung's commitment to enhancing user experience by creating more ergonomic devices.
Thinner and Sleeker
In addition to a refreshed look, Ice Universe has revealed that the Galaxy S25 Ultra may possess a body that is thinner than that of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
This reduction in thickness can not only make the phone more lightweight and portable but could also contribute to a more modern aesthetic.
Camera Upgrades
The photographic capabilities of the Galaxy S25 Ultra are also receiving considerable attention. It is reported that the device will feature four rear cameras, with substantial upgrades to both the ultra-wide and zoom capabilities.
The ultra-wide camera might see an upgrade to a 50 MP sensor, complemented by a 50 MP zoom camera with 3x optical zoom.
For context, the remaining two cameras are expected to retain the impressive 200 MP resolution and a periscope lens offering 5x optical zoom.
This comprehensive camera suite promises to elevate photography possibilities for users, making the Galaxy S25 Ultra a compelling choice for photography enthusiasts.
Battery and Charging
Powering the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to be a robust 5,000 mAh battery, coupled with the capability for 45W cable charging.
While this charging speed is consistent with previous models, it continues to ensure that users can quickly recharge their devices on the go.
“While the capabilities of this new battery system remain to be seen, it’s reassuring to know that Samsung is maintaining its commitment to longevity and efficiency,” said analysts.
